Chesham Crescent

A rear extension of a 1930's mid terrace house.

The client's existing ground floor layout suffered from a small dark galley kitchen with awkward access to the dining room and the rear garden  around the downstairs bathroom which sat between the two spaces. We proposed to re-build the existing rear extension and re-design the ground floor layout. We created a centralised pantry space which allowed for the toilet freeing up the back of the house to have a better relationship with the garden and an open plan kitchen dining area. The house has benefited from adding insulation and underfloor heating along with very thermally efficient windows and lots of insulation in the new extension.
