Whittell Gardens 14

A rear extension of a Victorian house. 

The owners existing layout suffered from a small kitchen and a cramped dining area. They wanted to create a pantry/utility space, a fitness room as well as add a front porch to help mitigate heat loss in the winter time. We took advantage of an awkward side garden with a

side extension that did not impinge on the already small rear garden. We slid the kitchen over into the new extension and removed to partition between the lounge providing a much larger and more functional dining space.

We were able to incorporate a fire rated glazed corner between the hall way and the kitchen dining area which has brightened up the once dark entrance hall.
