A rear extension of a Victorian house.

Whittell Gardens

The clients existing ground floor layout suffered from too many small spaces, coupled with temperature extremes in the summer that made it difficult to use the spaces at the rear of the house. The wedge shape proposal was a response to the site constraints, providing the additional internal spaces the clients needed without losing the rear garden space they loved and use so much.
